Annie Bélanger, Associate University Librarian, Information Resources & Academic Excellence
Annie has a diverse background in academic, special and public libraries. With extensive experience in management, web development, information architecture, marketing, and provision of service to students with disabilities, Annie is always keen to lead a range of projects in the Library that make use of her specialized skills. Most recently, at uWaterloo, she chairs the Web team, was the project lead for Library User Needs Assessment and was involved in the campus web redesign as the information architect.
Alison Hitchens, Acting Associate University Librarian, Research & Digital Discovery Services
Alison is also a Lecturer at the Faculty of Information and Media Studies, University of Western Ontario. She has worked as a cataloguer for the Resource Library for the Environment and the Law in Toronto, for ISM Library Technical Services (now OCLC Canada) in Winnipeg, and as the Manager of the Cataloguing Department at Library Services Centre in Kitchener. Alison co-published a peer-reviewed paper with Ellen Symons “Preparing catalogers for RDA training” and is actively involved in preparing Canadian librarians for RDA. Alison is the project lead for the Primo Implementation Team at TUG and sits on ELUNA’s Primo Product Working Group.
